When reading a book you enjoy you often stumble upon a quote that you relate to or just absolutely love. This is a few of the ones that I have read and adored;
‘Every human life is worth the same and worth saving’
- JK Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I find this quote very thoughtful and inspiring. It gives everyone a chance to see that no human is any less than the next. We are all just as worthy as each other no matter what status we have.
‘It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then’
-Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
This quote is good at making you look to the future and not to dwell on the past. The past is the past and happened at a different point in your life. It’s now time to look to the future and make it the way you want it.
‘Some infinities are bigger than other infinities’
-John Green, the Fault in our Stars
I find this extremely fascinating and important. Nothing is impossible. Even the things you don’t think are possible are they may just take longer to become reality.
‘“Do you think I’ve gone round the bend?”
“I’m afraid so. You’re mad, bonkers, completely off your head. But I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are.”
- Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
Alice in Wonderland is one of my all time favourite books and this quote is one I love. Everyone one of us is mad. The most intriguing and fascinating people are those who are different and those who are different are often deemed to be ‘mad’.
‘“The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease for ever to be able to do it.”
- JM Barrie, Peter Pan
Never doubt yourself. It’s the only thing holding you back.
Many Thanks, Caitlin x
